Alberto studied at the University of Ferrara near his hometown of Bologna, graduating with a Masters degree in architecture in 2012. During his studies he spent six months at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, and graduated cum laude with a mark of 110/110 for his thesis on the redevelopment of an urban area in Bologna.
Before relocating to London, Alberto tutored at universities in Ferrara and Bologna and worked as a freelance architect on residential projects. He also spent two years at Diverserighestudio in Bologna as project architect on several projects, including the award-winning Opificio Golinelli Centre for Knowledge and Culture.
Alberto joined Walters & Cohen in summer 2016 to work on the Twyford Abbey project. He has worked on masterplans for Bedford Modern School and ACS Egham, and was project architect for the envy-inducing refurbishment of Rachel's house. He was made an Associate in 2020.
Alberto is currently leading on the new sixth form building for King Alfred School.
