Somerset College Wins at the AIA UK Awards

Last night our ESTEAM Centre for Somerset College won a special commendation at the AIA UK Awards (medium project category). The judges were impressed with the innovation and beautiful simplicity of the building. They also commented on the passive design which resulted in a building that needs no heating or cooling - quite a feat for a building in the Cape of South Africa.

This was a great project, thanks to the enthusiastic client and the team at 2AD Space Architects, who as executive architects took great care in bringing our design to life.
